Josh Pickering

Josh Pickering is a Chief of Staff at DCVC and is currently pursuing an MD and MBA. With a decade of experience, they have developed high-impact solutions in medical and defense technology, including the invention of a Class III surgical device and leadership in a Stanford robotics project for the U.S. Army SOF. Previous roles include serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at Rural/Metro Corporation, an Operations Specialist in the US Navy, and co-founding the telehealth nonprofit TeleHelp Україна. Additionally, they have contributed to the medical field as a Medical Device Engineer at Stanford University and as a Medical Consultant at Epirium, driving innovation and improving healthcare solutions.
