In addition, Jonathan is the founder of Data Engineer Camp, which trains aspiring data engineers for major tech companies, and hosts conferences and meetups through DataEngConfAU, focusing on real-world data engineering challenges. As a Principal Data Engineer on a freelance basis, Jonathan works with Blike, employing advanced technologies to enhance its data platform. Previously, Jonathan held senior roles at Mantel Group and Telstra Purple, where notable achievements included awards and significant revenue contributions. Jonathan has also contributed to academia as a Lead Instructor at The University of Western Australia, guiding professionals into data careers.
