Eamonn O'Kane

Eamonn O'Kane began their work experience in 2018 with MINT Partners Australia, where they gained insights into bond brokerage and the impact of demand on bond prices. In the same year, they attended the Young Investment Banker Weekend organized by InvestIN Education, improving their understanding of the investment banking industry. Eamonn then joined Queen's Student Managed Fund as a Junior Analyst from 2018 to 2021.

In 2019, Eamonn worked at IPSI as a Trainee Fund Accountant, handling financial data analysis, bank reconciliations, and fund financials preparation. Eamonn later joined Data Intellect in 2021 as a Business Analyst, contributing to projects involving mobile app development and trade surveillance in investment banks and hedge funds.

Throughout their work experience, Eamonn has demonstrated skills in Agile methodologies, requirement gathering, project management, and financial data manipulation using Excel, including VBA. Eamonn also showcased an eagerness to broaden their knowledge of the investment banking industry through attending industry events and gaining exposure to different aspects of the field.

From 2017 to 2021, Eamonn O'Kane pursued a degree in Finance with a year in Industry at Queen's University Belfast.
