Emma Goodwin has a diverse work experience. Emma currently works as a kdb+ Developer at Data Intellect since October 2022. Previously, in 2019, they worked as a Retail Supervisor at SPAR Ireland for six months. In 2017, Emma was a Student Computer Modelling Researcher at Dublin City University, where they conducted a computer modelling project focused on simulating a spacecraft's trajectory to reach the Moon using C++ and Python. In 2016, they had two roles: a Steward at Aviva Stadium and a Computer Modelling Research Intern at Dublin City University, where they created a simulation of relativistic particles through the interstellar medium, enhancing graphics and providing a faster image using C++ and Python. In 2015, Emma worked at Supermac's as a Manager, Barista, Cashier, starting as a summer job and eventually being promoted to a floor manager. Emma gained experience in customer service during this time.

Emma Goodwin completed their education at various institutions over the years. Emma obtained a Master's degree in Computational Science from Uppsala University, which they attended from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they studied Physics and Astronomy at Dublin City University from 2014 to 2018. Emma'ssecondary education includes the completion of a Leaving Certificate at Dundalk Grammar School from 2008 to 2014. In addition to their academic achievements, Emma has obtained several certifications. These include the PCEP - Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer from the Python Institute in May 2023, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in January 2023, Python Libraries for Data Science from Simplilearn in July 2022, Deep Learning with Tensorflow from Simplilearn in April 2019, and ECDL from ECDL Ireland in September 2012.
