Kye Joong Cho, Ph.D., received an M.S. from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, specializing in Interpretation. Since joining the National Association for Interpretation (NAI) in 1995, Kye Joong has contributed to the organization’s growth and professional recognition in the interpretive field, presenting at over 20 workshops and serving as Director of NAI Korea. Currently, Kye Joong is an Associate Professor at Sunchon National University, where they focus on forest resources, environmental interpretation, and community-based programs. Additionally, Kye Joong has authored multiple books on conservation and cultural heritage interpretation, and has played a significant role in various ecological and interpretive initiatives in Korea and beyond.
