Ben Rayner

Ben Rayner is a retired Senior Software Architect, having spent a notable career at Data Science Automation from 1999 to 2020, where they developed applications in LabVIEW for a diverse clientele. As a distinguished member of the National Instruments community, Ben was recognized as a “Knight of NI” and was one of the inaugural LabVIEW Champions, collaborating with R&D to enhance the software. They also contributed to research as an assistant at the University of Pittsburgh and worked as a field engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. Now retired, Ben engages in various interests including home machining, farming, alternative energy, and exploring the historical roots of modern technology.
