Koen Koopen

Koen Koopen is a seasoned data scientist and machine learning engineer, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist/ML Engineer at Data Science Lab since March 2018. Prior to this role, Koen worked at Grant Thornton Netherlands as a Data Scientist from September 2017 to February 2018 and completed a Master Thesis Internship in Data Analysis there from February 2017 to July 2017. Koen began a career in a different field as a Kitchen Worker at Restaurant Onder de Wester from May 2012 to May 2017. Academically, Koen holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with an additional exchange minor in Finance from the University of Mississippi in 2014. The educational journey began at VWO RSG Enkhuizen, completing secondary education from 2006 to 2012.
