Fred Knops has a diverse work experience spanning from 1990 to the present. Fred currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Solutions at Data Society, a company that specializes in data science solutions and training. In this role, Fred works with clients in various industries, such as health, financial services, and national security, to transform data into actionable insights.

Prior to their current role, Fred served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at LendPro LLC, a financial technology business. During their time there, they oversaw the strong growth of the company and facilitated over $2 billion in financing in 2019.

Fred also has experience as an Author at Globe Pequot Press, where they published a book on Alexandria, Virginia, and as a Founding Partner at The Solent Group (USA), providing technical and strategic advisory services to private equity firms.

Earlier in their career, Fred worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they held several senior-level positions. Fred led the sale and delivery of IT and technology services to organizations such as the Department of Homeland Security and served as Officer-in-Charge for the DHS Eagle contract, generating significant revenue. Fred also led the creation of a new practice focusing on Strategic IT and Telecommunications services to various industries across Europe.

Throughout their career, Fred has showcased their expertise in technology, strategy development, and innovation, working with clients worldwide in both the federal and commercial markets.

Fred Knops has an extensive education history. Fred obtained a Judge Business School Post-Graduate Degree in Entrepreneurship (PGDE) from the University of Cambridge in 2019. Prior to that, they earned an MBA with a specialization in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business between 1992 and 1995. Fred also holds a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, which they received from 1988 to 1990. Their undergraduate education includes a BA in Mathematics and Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. In terms of additional certifications, Fred completed a course on "Data Science Management and Methods for Corporate Executives" at the Data Society in September 2018.
