Meghan Cipperley has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Meghan started their career in 2003 as a Television News Producer at Media General/WCBD and WMBB, where they produced daily news broadcasts and coordinated workflow for a team of 25 people. In 2010, they worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at San Diego City College/Mental Health Services, providing counseling and outreach to a diverse student population.

From 2014 to 2017, Meghan worked as a Career Transition Consultant at Insignia Federal Group, educating veterans and their spouses on career development techniques. Meghan facilitated Department of Labor workshops and instructed groups on job search techniques.

In 2017, Meghan joined Serco as a Benefits Advisor/Department of Veterans Affairs, where they provided transitioning service members and their families with a comprehensive understanding of earned VA offerings. Meghan also engaged with subject matter experts to offer training solutions and collaborated with managers and counselors to troubleshoot logistics.

Since 2019, Meghan has been associated with Data Society. Meghan initially worked as a Curriculum Designer, maintaining and updating courses in data science disciplines. Later, they became the Director of Learning, responsible for the development and delivery of synchronous training events. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Vice President of Learning, leading the learning department's strategies and operations.
