Sean Lux

Sean Lux has held a variety of positions throughout their career. In 1995, they served as a Captain in the US Army. In 2001, they were an Ewing Marion Kaufmann Foundation Entrepreneurial Intern at DTNet. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as an Internal Auditor at CSX Corp. From 2006 to 2017, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida. From 2017 to 2018, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Data & Sons. Currently, they are an Associate Professor of Practice at Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business.

Sean Lux obtained a BS in Civil Engineering from Norwich University in 1996. Sean then went on to obtain an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida in 2002. Following that, they earned a PhD in Strategic Management from the Florida State University College of Business in 2008. In 2021, they obtained a Foundations in Design Thinking certification from IDEO U. Sean is also certified in LEGO Strategic Play from LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®.
