Melissa has held advisory roles and leadership positions in various organizations, such as the Texas Civil Rights Project and the Association of Corporate Counsel, demonstrating a commitment to both legal excellence and advocacy for diversity and inclusion. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
