Edward OBrien

Edward O'Brien is a results-oriented and collaborative Computational Biologist and Data Science leader currently serving as the Director of Bioinformatics and AI at Data4Cure. With over nine years of experience in the biotech industry, they have a proven track record in the development and execution of impactful computational methods and analyses. Edward has led teams in the application of novel AI/ML methods for drug discovery and development across various disciplines, culminating in significant accomplishments including multiple patent applications and FDA-approved therapeutics. They earned a PhD in Bioinformatics & Systems Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Engineering Science from Tufts University.
