Benjie Friedman

Benjie Friedman is a Junior Geophysicist at VRIFY since October 2024 and a Tasker at DataAnnotation, beginning in February 2024, where responsibilities include evaluating and refining generative AI model responses related to software prompts. Previous experience includes roles as an Application Developer at Luniko Consulting, where three web applications and databases were independently designed, and as a Geological Technician at Hemmera and Ausenco, focusing on field navigation and soil/core analysis. Benjie has also served as a Geophysicist In-Training at CNOOC International, contributing to time-depth relationships and well-tie strategies in Atlantic Canada, and held positions at Discovery Int'l Geophysics Inc. and Newmont Corporation involving geophysical surveys and database management. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Computer Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics from The University of British Columbia.
