Mel Peng

Mel Peng has a diverse background in both healthcare and education. As a TCAB Volunteer at Cedars-Sinai from April 2024 to June 2025, Mel provided essential support to healthcare professionals and patients by managing call lights and facilitating communication. Previously, Mel worked as a Private Tutor from August 2022 to December 2022, specializing in AP biology and developing tailored curricula for high school students. Currently, Mel serves as an AI Trainer at DataAnnotation, enhancing various AI models through data annotation, and as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Zhou Lab at the California NanoSystems Institute, beginning in May 2025. Mel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at UCLA, building on a foundation established with a High School Diploma from Angelo Rodriguez High School in 2023.
