Terry Nguyen is currently a Full Stack Software Engineer at Verizon since June 2025 and holds dual roles as an AI Trainer at both Outlier and DataAnnotation since September 2024 and August 2023, respectively. Terry has experience in creating complex prompts, rating model responses, and developing rubrics for coding LLMs in multiple programming languages. Previous roles include serving as a Hatchery Navigator at Rutgers University and a Library Assistant, where responsibilities included managing event schedules and assisting patrons. Terry also engaged in internships as a Software Development Intern at Verizon and as a Research Intern in various academic settings, contributing to ecological research and psychological studies. Terry is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Rutgers University, expected to graduate in May 2025, following an honors diploma from Southside High School.
