Roberto Mesado, CAPM

Roberto Mesado has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Roberto is currently working as a Sr. Front-End Engineer at Databento since February 2023.

Prior to this, Roberto worked at Rotella Capital Management for over 3 years. Roberto started as a Quantitative Research Developer, where they built a Python research and trading platform. Later, they became an Engineering Team Lead, responsible for leading and training a team of 5 engineers. Roberto designed and built a web app from scratch, allowing users to analyze and visualize custom investment trading strategies. Roberto also created technical specifications, implemented front-end architecture, and collaborated with back-end developers for data models and storage solutions. Additionally, they conducted code reviews and resolved developer issues.

Before their time at Rotella Capital Management, Roberto attended The Flatiron School as a Full Stack Web Development Student in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an English Language Teacher at EPIK (English Program in Korea) from 2013 to 2015. Roberto also had experience as a Professional Teller at Bank of America in 2012 and as a Client Relationship Associate at Vanguard in 2010-2011.

Additionally, Roberto's earlier experiences include being a Resident Assistant at Arcadia University from 2007 to 2009, where they organized community-building activities and supported student residents. Roberto also worked as an Intern Researcher at the House of Commons in 2008, where they were involved in database maintenance, communication, and project work.

Roberto Mesado, CAPM, has a diverse education history that spans across various fields and institutions. In 2015-2016, they attended Flatiron School, where they studied Web Development. Prior to that, in 2012, they completed a non-degree program in Project Management at Villanova University. Roberto also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and Culture, which they obtained from Arcadia University for the period of 2006-2009. In 2008, they pursued a non-degree program in Organizational Behavior at Cass Business School. Additionally, in 2006, Roberto participated in a First Year Study Abroad Experience at City, University of London.

Alongside their education, Roberto Mesado has also earned the CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
