Trey Palmer

Trey Palmer has over 20 years of work experience in the technology field. Trey began their career in 2002 as a Systems Development Engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2011, they moved to the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they held the role of Principal Systems Architect. In this role, they were responsible for the architecture of Unix/Linux systems infrastructure, with primary emphases on open-source and proprietary storage, private cloud and configuration management (DevOps). From 2015 to 2019, Trey worked as a Lead Storage Engineer at Mailchimp. Trey then moved to Pandora, where they were a Staff Storage Engineer from 2019 to 2022. Trey currently works as a Systems Engineer at Databento.

Trey Palmer attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
