Alen Mernik has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Telephone Salesperson for Vox Audacia, Ideus d.o.o. In 2011 and 2012, they completed traineeships as a Translator for the European Central Bank and the European Parliament, respectively. In 2014, they worked as a Translator and Interpreter on a freelance basis. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Computer Numerically Controlled Programmer and Operator at 5er - Slovenska Bistrica. In 2017, they began working for SYKES Hungary as a Technical Support Technician. Since 2019, they have been employed at Databox, where they have held various roles, including Technical Support Specialist, Senior Technical Support Specialist, Customer Onboarding Team Lead, and Technical Support Team Lead. In their role as Customer Support Specialist, they provided Frontline Support for users of the app, answering questions, providing guidelines, suggestions, best practices, and addressing technical issues reported by users. Alen also escalated more complex technical issues and maintained communication with users for the duration of handling the issue.
