Gino Battestin has been working in the hospitality industry since 2013. Gino began their career as a Head Waiter and Food Runner for SANI SA. In 2015, they moved to the United States to work as a Front Desk Officer at The 1661 Inn. There, they were responsible for making room reservations, check in/check out, welcoming and accommodating guests to their rooms, responding e-mails, making phone calls, balancing money, and serving wine and cheese during happy hour. In 2016, they worked as a Server & Food Expeditor at Pine Tree Golf Club Inc., where they had a course of fine dining and wine service. Gino also worked as a F&B Server at Ballard's Inn, a summer beach resort with a focus on big F&B sales and daily promotions. In 2018, Gino worked as a Waiter Pre-Opening for MAMA SHELTER, and as a Front Desk Staff for Courtyard by Marriott Belgrade City Center, where they monitored and directed personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, supplied guests with directions and information, and communicated parking procedures. In 2019, they worked as a Guest Services Specialist for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., where they welcomed guests in a friendly and professional way, resolved, addressed and escalated customer complaints, and provided information about facilities, programs, ports of call and booking excursions. In 2020, Gino worked as an Account Manager for Silver Bell Group and as a Real Estate Consultant for West Properties DOO, where they called clients that applied on website, managed marketing leads, made phone calls, sent emails on daily basis, worked to negotiate and arrange real estate transactions, advised the home seller in preparing their home for listing and showings, helped buyers locate all properties in their desired area in their price range and meeting their criteria, coordinated and helped buyers to visit and view properties, coordinated inspections, reports and repair negotiations, and provided clients with assistance throughout the purchasing or selling process in order to help them achieve their goals. Currently, Gino is working as a Technical Sales Consultant, Sales Assistant, and Customer Support Specialist for Databox, where they are helping companies, mostly marketing agencies, automate their reporting and escape the endless cycle of spreadsheets, Powerpoints, and screenshots for tracking performance data.
Gino Battestin completed a Bachelor's degree in Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management from Singidunum University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Tourism and Travel Services Management from College of Tourism Belgrade from 2012 to 2016.
