Sam Kirsch

Sam Kirsch has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Desktop & PBX System Support at Olive Leaf Medical and Wholeness Center, where they managed IT resources and performed desktop support and hardware repair. In 2006, they became a Desktop Support Technician at J. Kings Food Services, supporting desktop computers, printing, and networking in a large warehouse. From 2007 to 2012, Sam worked as a Sr. Desktop Support & Field Technician at Jackson Hewitt, maintaining IT equipment in multiple tax office locations and providing technical assistance. They then took on a contract project at Lockheed Martin as a VoIP Phone Deployment Specialist, installing over 3,800 VoIP phones. Sam later joined Plexicomm as a NOC Technician / Network Support, maintaining and configuring wireless and fiber network infrastructure. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Systems & Network Administrator at TeamWorld Inc., where they managed and monitored network devices, performed major upgrades, and resolved network issues. Currently, Sam is working as an Information Technology Field Engineer at Databranch.

In 2001, Sam enrolled at Drew University and studied computer science. They attended the university for one year, completing their studies in 2002.

Following their time at Drew University, from 2002 to 2003, Sam pursued a professional certification in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Net+ at Career Centers - NY.
