Aditya Nambiar

Aditya Nambiar currently serves as a Member of Technical Staff at Databricks since April 2025 and is also a Fellow at On Deck since May 2023. Previously, Aditya co-founded Fennel, which was acquired by Databricks, and contributed to building data infrastructure for machine learning teams from April 2022 to April 2025. Prior to that, Aditya held the position of Tech Lead at Instagram from August 2020 to April 2022, optimizing new features such as Reels and Explore, and enhancing ad targeting through user intent. Aditya also worked at Facebook as a Tech Lead from March 2019 to August 2020, developing an advanced ID-based authentication system utilizing natural language processing and computer vision. Earlier experience includes a software engineering role at Google from July 2016 to January 2019, collaborating with research teams on natural language understanding, as well as a founding member role at Cityflo, where Aditya helped build and scale the technology platform. Aditya began the career with internships at Google and Nanyang Technological University following a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
