Ajay Powar

Ajay Powar has a diverse professional background in talent acquisition, beginning with military training as an Officer Cadet in the British Army from October 2007 to October 2009. Following this, Ajay served as a Special Constable with the Metropolitan Police until June 2011, before transitioning to various recruiting roles. Ajay held a Consultant position at TEKsystems from August 2011 to September 2013, then worked at Google as a Cloud Recruiter in early 2018, advancing to Senior Recruiting Lead for Cloud in the APAC region, where responsibilities included hiring for a range of technical roles. Ajay is currently a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Databricks, overseeing recruitment for Field Engineering and Customer Success & Professional Services teams in EMEA. Additionally, Ajay co-leads the #poctech community at Campus London, supporting diversity within the tech sector. Education was completed at the University of Westminster.
