Alan Davidson

Alan Davidson is currently the Head of Government Affairs at Databricks, where they utilize over 20 years of experience as a nonprofit leader, business executive, and public servant to address critical questions about technology and society. They previously served as the Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, leading initiatives to enhance broadband access and promote responsible AI innovation. Davidson has held leadership roles at notable organizations including Mozilla, Google, and Booz Allen & Hamilton, and has contributed to academic discourse as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. They hold a J.D. from Yale Law School and dual degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
