Aleksey Mints

Aleksey Mints, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Business Planning at Databricks, where leadership includes product pricing, monetization, and commercialization for AI technologies. Previously, Aleksey held senior roles at Google, leading business planning and commercialization across multiple Google Cloud portfolios, significantly impacting approximately half of Google Cloud's revenue. Prior experience includes positions at Microsoft, where responsibilities spanned business planning for the Intelligent Edge portfolio and shaping OEM strategy, along with a directorial role at Juniper Networks, overseeing strategy and business development. Aleksey's career began with a graduate research position at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on theoretical physics, followed by consulting at Boston Consulting Group. Aleksey holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a magna cum laude A.B. in Physics from Harvard University.
