Alexander Brassel

Alexander Brassel is a Software Engineer at Databricks, where they are currently building out Marketplace, an open data and analytics sharing platform. Prior to this, Alexander worked at Meta, focusing on a Rust build tooling system known as buck2. They have also contributed to the development of instructional materials for the University of Maryland system and created Superconsole, a Rust framework for building TUIs. With a strong background in diverse areas such as build tooling, security, and programming languages, Alexander has experience in both full stack and mobile environments. They earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
