Benedict Ely

Benedict Ely has an extensive work history in the legal sector. Benedict began their career at Oracle in 2008 as Senior Director, Head of UK Legal, where they stayed until 2019. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Main Board Director at techUK, representing various tech companies. Ely then transitioned to Databricks in 2019, taking on various legal leadership roles, including Vice President Global Commercial Legal.

Benedict Ely attended the University of Exeter from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law LLB Hons. Benedict later obtained the certification of Solicitor from The Law Society of England & Wales in 1991 and became a Member of Mensa International.
