Bruce Lowekamp

Bruce Lowekamp is a highly accomplished technology leader specializing in secure and reliable systems. They currently serve as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Databricks while also teaching Cloud Computing at William & Mary. Previously, they were a Principal Architect at Microsoft, where they significantly contributed to the architecture of core systems powering Teams and Skype. With experience at Google as a tech lead for GCP’s authorization services, Bruce has played a vital role in enhancing security and scalability across various platforms. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
