Catherine Ha Ta

Catherine Ha Ta possesses extensive experience in data science and quantitative analysis, with a foundational background in mathematics from UC Irvine, where a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) were obtained. Catherine worked as a Research Assistant at UC Irvine from September 2011 to June 2017, focusing on algorithm design and accuracy analysis in MATLAB, along with serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for undergraduate math courses. Subsequently, Catherine held the position of Quantitative Analyst at KPMG US from June 2017 to June 2018, developing predictive models for financial risk assessment using R. Since June 2018, Catherine has advanced to roles at Databricks, initially as a Data Scientist and more recently as a Senior Data Scientist, contributing to data-driven insights and solutions.
