Chengyin Eng

Chengyin Eng is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Databricks, where responsibilities include leading machine learning projects for cross-functional clients, scoping scalable ML system requirements, designing and implementing end-to-end ML pipelines, and presenting findings to C-level executives. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Data Science Consultant and Data Science Consultant at MassMutual, executing high-impact projects across various domains. Chengyin also served as a Research Intern at the University of Bayreuth, conducting experiments on the effects of microclimate changes on grassland species, and as a Research and Analytical Intern at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, collecting field data on tree mortality. Chengyin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Environmental Studies with a focus on Conservation from Mount Holyoke College.
