Corey Zumar

Corey Zumar is a software engineer at Databricks, specializing in machine learning since May 2018. Prior to this role, Corey served as a researcher at the Berkeley RISE Lab, contributing to the development of Clipper, an open-source prediction serving system for machine learning applications. Corey's experience includes a software engineering internship at Google, focusing on Android development for the Google Voice team, as well as an internship in Airbnb's Android team, where Corey integrated business travel features and developed infrastructure for a smartwatch application. Previous internship roles at Summon involved enhancing an Android app with features such as Google Wallet integration and fare estimation. Corey also founded Super Tag, a mobile API for text messaging applications. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
