David Cashman

David Cashman is a Staff Software Engineer at Databricks, where they focus on high-performance software development in C and C++. They previously served as a SoC Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2016 to 2020, contributing to key projects including the TimeQuest static timing analysis tool and leading efforts in performance optimization for FPGAs. Prior to Intel, Cashman held various engineering roles at Altera from 2002 to 2009, where they significantly enhanced performance in FPGA architecture and analysis tools. They earned degrees from the University of Toronto, completing their studies in 2001 and 2004.
