David Slinger is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cloud computing and database management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Databricks since June 2021, David previously held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from June 2014 to June 2021, where involvement centered on the Control Plane for Amazon Redshift. Prior to that, David worked at IBM from August 2009 to May 2014, concluding as a Staff Software Engineer for DB2 z/OS, with contributions to both the Agent Services and Log Manager components.
