David Wells

David Wells is currently a Staff Security Field Engineer at Databricks, where they focus on deploying Databricks for Cybersecurity and building trust with clients. With over fifteen years of experience in Cybersecurity, David has previously served as Director of Cybersecurity and Fusion Services at PwC Canada, where they developed strategies for Financial Crimes Fusion Centers for major financial institutions. Their career includes significant roles at TELUS, Forsythe, and The Herjavec Group, where they managed high-profile security implementations. David holds degrees in Cognitive Science and Computer Science Technology from McGill University, the University of Ottawa, and Sheridan College.
