Douglas Moore

Douglas Moore has extensive experience in technology and consulting, specializing in big data architecture and services delivery. Currently serving as Lead Specialist Solutions Architect at Databricks since April 2019, Douglas previously held roles including Principal Consultant at Teradata and President at Accius and TrakEnergy, where responsibilities encompassed systems integration and data management solutions for energy and trading firms. Douglas has also contributed to the energy sector as CTO at SmartEnergy and Director of Architecture at Sapient. Early career achievements include recognition at IBM for outstanding technical contributions. Douglas holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University, complemented by additional studies at MIT Sloan School of Management.
