Fermín Serna is the Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Databricks. He was previously the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Citrix. Prior to this, Fermín was the CSO for Semmle (acquired by GitHub) and served as the Head of Product Security at Google for almost eight years where he built, ran and oversaw the application security program for Google products. Fermín has also worked at Microsoft with the MSRC Engineering team where he envisioned and built the industry-recognized EMET tool. Additionally, Fermín served as CTO and co-founder of NGSEC and S21SEC in Spain.
