Heqing Ya

Heqing Ya is a Senior Software Engineer at Databricks, where they manage clusters and enhance the stability and reliability of the Databricks Cluster APIs. Previously, they held positions at TigerGraph, where they led the cloud team to develop the first commercial graph database as a service platform, and at Morgan Stanley, where they developed an award-winning Data Distribution Network Visualization and Configuration Tool. Heqing started their career with a summer internship at Riverbed Technology, where they created a disk-level prefetch algorithm that significantly improved cache hit rates and reduced booting time. Heqing holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology from Fudan University and a Master’s degree in Intelligent Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
