Indrajit Roy

Indrajit Roy currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Databricks, leading the Lakeflow engine team, which focuses on Spark Structured Streaming, materialization engine, and incremental processing to meet the analytics needs of revenue-critical customers. Prior to this role, Indrajit was the Head of Analytical Datawarehouse for Google Data Analytics and Insights, where responsibilities included overseeing the vision and execution of the Napa datawarehouse that supports significant services. Indrajit also worked as a Principal Researcher at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories and Vertica Database, where development efforts included Distributed R and various research projects on distributed machine learning and graph databases. Indrajit Roy holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
