Jason Trost

Jason Trost is currently the Head of Detection Engineering Team at Databricks, where they direct detection, response, and threat hunting efforts and lead initiatives to enhance organizational security posture. With a strong background in software engineering and network security, Jason previously served as the VP of Threat Research at Anomali, where they expanded the threat research team and launched significant projects like the Modern Honey Network. Jason's experience also includes roles at HSBC, Capital One, and Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on cybersecurity analytics and big data technologies. They hold a Master’s degree in Information Security from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Florida State University.
