Jasser Abidi is an Apache Spark evangelist and Delta Lake contributor with a strong background in big data engineering. They developed a real-time SIMBOX fraud detection application as part of their graduation project and served as a Big Data Engineer at BNP Paribas and Société Générale. Jasser has held various roles at Databricks, currently working as a Senior Specialist Solution Architect since 2024, after serving as a Specialist Solution Architect. They earned an engineer's degree in Computer Science from Université de Tunis El Manar in 2016.
