Jillian W.

Jillian W. is currently the CoS of Field Engineering at Databricks, overseeing operational strategies. Previously, they served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2015 to 2018 and worked in Intelligence Modernization at the Defense Intelligence Agency from 2018 to 2020. Jillian also held leadership positions at Confluent, including Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy & Operations in the Customer Solutions Group. Their educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Science in Engineering & Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both of which have contributed to their diverse expertise in engineering and management. Prior to their academic and corporate roles, Jillian served as an Army Officer from 2006 to 2021.
