John Shea

Global Director, Sales Enablement at Databricks

John Shea has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in sales enablement and consultancy. Starting their career at CEB (now Gartner), they worked as a Lead Qualification Associate before moving on to roles in strategy, corporate development, and sales transformation. Later, at Challenger, they co-founded a podcast, led sales transformations, and facilitated training sessions. Currently, at Databricks, they hold the position of Global Director, overseeing sales enablement initiatives for the organization.

John Shea holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Religious Studies from Gettysburg College. John also received training in Generative AI Fundamentals and Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals through Academy Accreditation programs at Databricks. John attended Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona but did not complete a degree there.
