Josh Thompson

Josh Thompson is a Senior Security Software Engineer at Databricks since November 2022, following a successful tenure at Dwolla where roles included Lead Information Security Engineer, Information Security Engineer, and Information Security Specialist from February 2019 to October 2022. Prior military experience includes serving in the U.S. Navy Reserve as an Information Technology Chief Petty Officer from February 2019 to January 2021 and holding the same title in the US Navy from March 2009 to February 2019. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering at the SANS Technology Institute from 2022 to 2025.
