Kayvan Lira

Kayvan Lira currently serves as the Director of Public Sector for Canada at Databricks, a company dedicated to simplifying data and AI through its unique lakehouse platform. Prior to this role, Kayvan worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Financial Services Leader for the Canada Public Sector and previously as the Business Development Manager for the Federal Government. Kayvan's career includes experience at MongoDB as an Enterprise Account Executive, at Splunk as a Regional Sales Manager, at IBM as a Security Software Sales Executive for the Federal Government, and at Zix Corporation as a Senior Account Manager. Beginning as a Software Developer co-op at Entrust, Kayvan holds a BA in Honours Computer Science from the University of Ottawa.
