Kerry Chang

Kerry Chang is a senior engineering manager at Databricks, focusing on AI governance and observability as well as Databricks Apps since 2025. Previously, Kerry held various engineering leadership roles at Instabase, including head of engineering and director of engineering, where they managed product engineering and led efforts to transform unstructured data into actionable insights using AI. Kerry began their career at IBM as a research staff member, contributing to the Cloud Functions research team and co-presenting at Serverlessconf'17. They hold a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
