Lars George

Lars George has a diverse work experience, beginning in 1999 as the CTO at WorldLingo Translations. Lars later worked at Cloudera in various roles such as EMEA Chief Architect and Director of EMEA Services. Lars also co-founded OpenCore GmbH & Co. KG and worked as a Principal Solutions Architect at Okera. Lars has been a Member of The Apache Software Foundation and served as a Lecturer at Fachhochschule Münster. Additionally, Lars has authored and co-authored publications with O'Reilly Media and acted as a Co-Author. Currently, they are employed at Databricks as the Lead Product Specialist.

Lars George completed their high school education at Johanneum Gymnasium Herborn from 1981 to 1989, with a focus on Math and English. Lars then pursued a degree in IT and Computer Science at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 1991 to 1995, earning a Diplom Informatiker. In 2020, Lars obtained certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
