Mark Ott

Mark Ott is currently a Senior Technical Instructor at Databricks, a position held since September 2021. In addition, Mark serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati, teaching graduate-level courses in Apache Spark and Machine Learning algorithms. Mark's prior experience includes a significant tenure at Teradata, where roles spanned from Data Scientist to Senior Technical Instructor from March 2010 to October 2020, and served as Lead Instructor for Teradata Global Learning/Customer Education since 1994. During this time, Mark developed a range of courses for the Data Science Roadshow, which successfully utilized Machine Learning techniques to generate customer leads globally. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Miami University.
