Matthew Thomson

Matthew Thomson has a diverse work experience in data science and analytics, starting with their role as a Visiting Graduate Fellow at California Institute of Technology in 2008. Matthew then moved on to roles at the Department for Education of UK, Ernst & Young, Capgemini, Barclaycard, and finally Databricks, where they held various leadership positions, including Sr. Director EMEA Product Specialists. Matthew'sexpertise spans from forensic data analysis to leading data science teams in the EMEA region.

Matthew Thomson studied Physics at the University of Oxford from 2002 to 2006, earning a 1st class Master's degree (MPHYS). Matthew then went on to pursue a PhD in Astrophysics at the University of Sussex from 2006 to 2010.
