Matthias Ingerfeld

Matthias Ingerfeld currently serves as Area VP & TechGM Field Engineering for Central Europe at Databricks, focusing on data and AI solutions. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Google Cloud, where responsibilities spanned Head of Practices and Specialists for EMEA North and DACH, overseeing customer engineering teams across multiple regions. Matthias held senior management positions at VMware for nearly a decade, leading PreSales Systems Engineering teams in Hybrid Cloud and Cloud Management, as well as managing Technical Account Managers across CEMEA. Early career roles included technical support management at APC-MGE and APC, and serving as Managing Director of elogis GmbH. Matthias holds a master's degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in computer sciences, from the University of Cologne.
