Michelle A. McSweeney

Michelle A. McSweeney, PhD, is currently a Staff Learning Architect at Databricks and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the City University of New York (CUNY). With over a decade of experience in data science, specializing in natural language processing (NLP) and storytelling, Michelle has led teams and initiatives across various organizations, including Columbia University, Converseon, and Codecademy. Michelle earned a PhD in Linguistics from the CUNY Graduate Center, and has published two books on the intersection of technology and language. Passionate about empowering others to work effectively with data, Michelle continues to teach and innovate in the field.
