Mitchell Desmond

Mitchell Desmond has a diverse background in research and data consulting, beginning with a role as a Research Assistant at CureDM, where Mitchell contributed to the development of the Human proIslet Peptide (HIP) aimed at regenerating insulin-producing islets in the pancreas. Following this, Mitchell worked at the Dr. Zachary Gagnon Lab as a Researcher, focusing on creating point-of-care medical diagnostic devices. At Accenture, Mitchell served as a Data Consultant, specializing in metadata analytics, machine learning, sensitive data classification, and graph database storage. Currently, Mitchell is a Customer Success Engineer at Databricks. Educationally, Mitchell holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, both from The Johns Hopkins University.
